Work can be so much more.

Organizations are full of idealists.

Team members envision workplaces that are effective, transparent, and fun.

Leaders and stakeholders picture projects that not only meet organizational goals and are finished on time but that are collaboratively conceived and enthusiastically implemented

Everyone wants the work to hum.

But they experience something very different.

They see system-wide challenges that seem insurmountable: unbalanced power dynamics, irrelevant goals, and lackluster commitment to change.

They’re hobbled by day-to-day headaches: poor communication, lack of accountability, and relational static.

They feel frustrated and checked-out.

I BELIEVE IN CHANGE.

Work can become a healthy, productive practice that encourages people to contribute, grow, and create work they’re proud of.

Leaders, work teams, and stakeholders can move from being disengaged to being invested by developing reliable collaborative skills.

Leadership and interpersonal skills can defuse workplace chaos by helping people repair relationships and teaching them to work together.

And once people know how to meaningfully collaborate, they start to anticipate that good things will keep happening.

They feel hopeful.

Now they feel empowered to make changes. Now they’re confident that those changes will stick.

The outcomes are simple and powerful: Teams that function well and achieve more with joy.

I CAN HELP

I lead work teams, leaders, and stakeholders through skills development and guide them so they can put those skills into practice through meeting facilitation, professional development, and retreat leadership.

As a process and organizational change consultant, I’m passionate about helping organizations transform into thriving places where effective work and collaboration are the norm.

Breanna helped my organization define the role of the new program we were starting, and how it could work for both our clients and ourselves. She really got to know our program well, so it felt like she could offer her expertise on an extremely individualized level.

ABOUT ME

I’m Breanna Trygg, an organizational consultant and facilitator in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I assist organizations so they can build capacity and grow into entities that are equipped to take on challenges and say yes to opportunities.

Through a deep understanding of systems and design thinking as well as adult learning theory, I help teams find new solutions using their own knowledge and experience.

I’m passionate about creating work-based community by helping teams and multiple stakeholders connect with one another and build networks that equip them to tackle complex challenges and gain new access to creativity and resilience.

I earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership through the Organization Systems Renewal program at Pinchot University (now housed at Fielding University). I founded Trygg Consulting in 2015.

I worked as a nonprofit program director at an environmental education organization that worked statewide to create innovative ways to get students outdoors by building community-school partnerships and using a systems-thinking lens. I’m a co-founder and the current board member of Wild Grief, a nonprofit that supports grieving youth and families through peer support and wilderness experiences.

WHAT I BRING TO YOUR ORGANIZATION

Outside perspective.

I can see what’s working and what isn’t and guide people in a way that respects everyone who’s part of the process.

Experience

You may only do this kind of deep work once every five years. I lead groups through a similar process all the time.

I know how growth and change work.

When things get sticky, I can discern the best course of action. I guide groups through conflict based on experience.

My method works

You don’t have to wing it. Tested tools and structures lead to effective sessions, skills acquisition, and new ideas.

I tailor the process.

My sessions and retreats are not one-size-fits-all. I craft a process that’s just for your project or organization.

It’s not all theory.

I prioritize achievement. Work sessions are not therapy sessions or lectures. As an organization, you will get work done.

I bust mythologies.

I know the traps that hinder healthy relationships, investment, and achievement – and how to coach people out of them.

It’s fun.

In my sessions, learning and work are satisfying. Participants experience levity and laughter along with the work.

I would love to help your organization transform.
